House Leadership Statement on Assigning the Duties of the Local Government, Land Grants, and Cultural Affairs Committee

Santa Fe NM- Speaker of the House Brian Egolf (D-Santa Fe), House Majority Leader Javier Martínez (D-Albuquerque), Majority Whip Doreen Gallegos (D-Las Cruces), and Caucus Chair D. Wonda Johnson (D-Church Rock) issue the following statement regarding the duties of the former Local Government, Land Grants, and Cultural Affairs Committee:

“The duties and jurisdictional areas of the former Local Government, Land Grants, and Cultural Affairs Committee, including Land Grants issues, will be assigned to other committees of the House at the beginning of the Thirty Day Session in January.”
